Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: August 24, 2026
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
Welcome to Snuggle Pups Mobile Grooming (“Snuggle Pups,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Terms and Conditions apply to all grooming services provided by Snuggle Pups Mobile Grooming and to appointments booked through our website, by phone, text message, or any other communication method.
By scheduling an appointment or allowing Snuggle Pups Mobile Grooming to provide services to your pet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Grooming Services
Snuggle Pups Mobile Grooming provides professional mobile dog grooming services at or near the customer’s residence or designated service location.
Services may include, depending on the package selected:
* Bathing
* Shampoo and conditioning
* Haircuts and trimming
* Brushing and de-shedding
* Nail trimming
* Ear cleaning
* Eye-area cleaning
* Teeth brushing
* Paw pad trimming
* Sanitary trimming
* Anal gland expression upon request
* Other grooming services or add-ons selected by the customer
The exact services performed will depend on the package booked, the pet’s coat and skin condition, temperament, health, behavior, and ability to safely tolerate the grooming process.
2. Pet Owner Responsibilities
Pet owners are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their pet before grooming services begin.
This includes, but is not limited to:
* Age
* Breed
* Health conditions
* Allergies
* Skin conditions
* Previous injuries
* Medications
* Behavioral concerns
* Anxiety or sensitivity
* History of biting or aggression
* Previous difficulties during grooming
* Any other condition that could affect the safety of the pet or groomer
Failure to disclose relevant medical or behavioral information may increase the risk of injury or complications during grooming.
3. Senior Dog Policy
For first-time appointments, Snuggle Pups Mobile Grooming only accepts dogs up to 12 years of age.
Dogs over 12 years old are not accepted for their first grooming appointment with us.
This policy is intended to prioritize the comfort, safety, and well-being of senior pets. We believe that having an established grooming history and familiarity with the grooming process and groomer is especially important as dogs age.
Existing Snuggle Pups clients who become older than 12 may continue to be considered for grooming based on their health, behavior, grooming history, and ability to safely tolerate the service.
Snuggle Pups reserves the right to decline or discontinue grooming when we believe the service may pose an unreasonable risk to the pet.
4. Aggressive or Unsafe Behavior
Snuggle Pups Mobile Grooming does not accept aggressive dogs for grooming services.
Pet owners must disclose any known history of aggression, biting, snapping, or significant behavioral difficulties before the appointment.
If a dog demonstrates aggressive, dangerous, or highly distressed behavior during the appointment, the groomer may immediately stop the service for the safety of the dog and the groomer.
Snuggle Pups reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if the groomer determines that continuing would be unsafe.
5. Incomplete Grooming Services
The safety and well-being of the pet and groomer are our priority.
If a dog does not tolerate the grooming process or does not allow the groomer to safely complete the scheduled service, Snuggle Pups may stop the service.
If a grooming service cannot be completed because of the pet’s behavior, aggression, excessive movement, stress, anxiety, health condition, or inability to safely tolerate the grooming process, the customer may be charged between 50% and 100% of the scheduled service price.
The amount charged will depend on factors including the amount of service already performed, time spent with the pet, travel to the customer’s location, preparation, and the appointment time that was reserved exclusively for the customer.
The charge applies even if the complete grooming service could not be performed because Snuggle Pups has reserved the appointment time, traveled to the customer’s location, and provided professional grooming time and resources.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change. However, because Snuggle Pups is a mobile grooming business and reserves dedicated appointment time and travel for each customer, sufficient notice is required for cancellations and rescheduling.
Cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $50 cancellation/rescheduling fee per scheduled dog.
This fee helps compensate for the reserved appointment time and the limited opportunity to offer the appointment to another customer on short notice.
Snuggle Pups may, at its sole discretion, waive the fee in certain emergencies or exceptional circumstances.
Repeated late cancellations or rescheduling may require advance payment or a deposit before future appointments can be scheduled.
7. No-Shows and Customer Availability
Customers are responsible for being available at the scheduled appointment time and ensuring that Snuggle Pups has reasonable access to the pet and agreed service location.
If the customer is unavailable, cannot be contacted, or the groomer cannot reasonably access the pet at the scheduled time, the appointment may be considered a no-show.
A no-show may result in a fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service price.
Repeated no-shows may result in advance payment being required for future appointments or Snuggle Pups declining future services.
8. Appointment Times and Delays
Appointment times are scheduled as accurately as possible. However, mobile grooming appointments may occasionally be affected by:
* Traffic
* Weather
* Road conditions
* Mechanical issues
* Unexpected circumstances
* A previous pet requiring additional grooming time or care
Snuggle Pups will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of significant delays.
Because every pet has different grooming needs, the exact duration of an appointment cannot be guaranteed.
9. Matted Coats
Severely tangled or matted coats can cause discomfort and may hide skin irritation, sores, bruising, parasites, or other underlying conditions.
When significant matting is present, Snuggle Pups will prioritize the comfort and safety of the pet.
In cases of severe matting, a shorter haircut or shave-down may be necessary rather than attempting extensive dematting.
Snuggle Pups will not perform excessive dematting when the groomer believes doing so would cause unnecessary pain, stress, or discomfort to the pet.
Additional charges may apply when matting requires significantly more grooming time, specialized handling, or additional work.
By authorizing the removal of a matted coat, the pet owner acknowledges that previously hidden skin conditions may become visible after the hair is removed.
10. Pre-Existing Health and Skin Conditions
Grooming may reveal pre-existing conditions that were not visible before the service, including:
* Skin irritation
* Rashes
* Hot spots
* Lumps or bumps
* Wounds
* Ear irritation
* Parasites
* Nail conditions
* Coat or skin abnormalities
Snuggle Pups does not diagnose medical conditions.
If we notice something concerning during grooming, we may inform the pet owner and recommend that the pet be evaluated by a veterinarian.
Snuggle Pups is not responsible for medical conditions that existed before the grooming appointment or conditions that become apparent as a result of cleaning, trimming, brushing, or removing matted hair.
11. Medical Emergencies
If a pet experiences a medical emergency during grooming, Snuggle Pups will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner immediately.
If the owner cannot be reached and the groomer reasonably believes immediate veterinary attention is necessary to protect the pet’s health or safety, the pet owner authorizes Snuggle Pups to seek veterinary assistance when reasonably possible.
Any veterinary expenses associated with a pre-existing condition or a medical event not caused by negligence on the part of Snuggle Pups remain the responsibility of the pet owner.
12. Fleas, Ticks, and Parasites
If fleas, ticks, or other parasites are discovered during the grooming appointment, the customer may be notified.
Additional services or charges may apply if additional treatment, cleaning, or sanitation is required.
Snuggle Pups reserves the right to discontinue the appointment when an infestation creates a health or sanitation concern.
Pet owners are responsible for maintaining appropriate parasite prevention and seeking veterinary treatment when necessary.
13. Grooming Results
We make every reasonable effort to achieve the grooming result requested by the customer while prioritizing the pet’s safety, comfort, coat condition, and tolerance.
The final result may differ from photographs, previous haircuts, or the customer’s initial request depending on:
* Coat condition
* Matting
* Hair texture
* Previous haircuts
* Pet behavior
* Pet movement
* Health or skin conditions
* The amount of grooming the pet safely tolerates
The safety and comfort of the pet will always take priority over cosmetic preferences.
14. Inspection at Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Pet owners are responsible for inspecting their dog at both drop-off and pick-up.
At drop-off, owners should make Snuggle Pups aware of any visible injuries, skin concerns, unusual behavior, or other conditions that may be relevant to the grooming service.
At pick-up, owners should inspect their dog to confirm that the requested service was properly completed and that their pet appears to be in good condition.
Any concerns regarding the grooming service or the pet’s condition should be brought directly to the groomer’s attention at the time of service so that they can be promptly addressed.
We encourage customers to communicate any concerns immediately so we have an opportunity to review and address them.
15. Grooming-Related Risks
Although Snuggle Pups uses reasonable care and professional grooming practices, pet grooming involves certain inherent risks, particularly when working with pets that move unexpectedly, have sensitive skin, are matted, elderly, anxious, or have underlying medical conditions.
Minor irritation, small nicks, clipper irritation, nail bleeding, or other grooming-related issues can occasionally occur despite reasonable care.
By authorizing grooming services, the owner acknowledges the inherent risks associated with pet grooming.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive liability that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
16. Photographs and Videos
Snuggle Pups may take photographs or videos of pets before, during, or after grooming for purposes including grooming records, documenting coat condition, and documenting the completed service.
With appropriate permission, photographs or videos may also be used for Snuggle Pups marketing, social media, website content, or promotional materials.
Customers who do not want their pet’s image used for promotional purposes may notify us.
17. Pricing and Additional Charges
Prices may vary depending on factors including:
* Dog size
* Coat length
* Coat condition
* Matting
* Breed
* Grooming requirements
* Behavior
* Additional time required
* Requested services or add-ons
An initial quote or estimated price may change if the pet’s actual condition or grooming requirements differ significantly from the information provided when the appointment was scheduled.
When reasonably possible, Snuggle Pups will communicate significant additional charges to the customer.
18. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the appointment unless another arrangement has been agreed to in advance.
Applicable cancellation, no-show, incomplete-service, dematting, or other authorized fees may also be due as described in these Terms and Conditions.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that payment is successfully completed.
19. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
Snuggle Pups Mobile Grooming reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or decline future grooming services when reasonably necessary for the safety, welfare, or operation of our business.
This may include circumstances involving:
* Aggressive or unsafe pet behavior
* Significant undisclosed health or behavioral conditions
* A pet experiencing excessive distress
* Unsafe service locations
* Repeated no-shows or late cancellations
* Nonpayment
* Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward our staff
* Circumstances in which the groomer reasonably determines that continuing the service would not be in the best interest of the pet
20. Website and Online Booking
Our website and online booking system are operated through Wix.
Submitting an appointment request through our website does not necessarily guarantee that an appointment will be accepted or completed.
Snuggle Pups reserves the right to contact customers regarding appointment details and to modify, decline, or cancel an appointment when necessary.

21. Privacy
Personal information collected through our website, appointment booking process, or communications is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

The customer confirms that they are the pet’s owner or are otherwise authorized to consent to grooming services on behalf of the pet’s owner.
